EU – CLP Updated – ATP 21 Published.
Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), ATP21 amendments were published in the Official Journal of the European Union Regulation (EU) 2024/197. Accordingly, 17 substances were added to the Annex 6 list.
Changes have been made to the classification data of 24 substances, including resorcinol; 1,3-benzenediol, benzyl alcohol, ethyl acrylate, methyl acrylate, potassium chlorate, and sodium chlorate, which are used in many different sectors such as polymers, plastics, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals.
The new classifications will be implemented starting September 1, 2025.
