KKDIK Regulation Registration Dates Updated!
The registration schedule for substances covered by the KKDIK Regulation has been determined in stages according to the tonnage and hazard classifications of the substance. The relevant amendment entered into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette No. 32408 dated 23.12.2023.
The registration schedule details for joint registration will be as follows.
* December 31, 2026, for substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 1,000 tons or more per year.
* For substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 100 tons or more per year and classified as Aquatic Acute 1 and/or Aquatic Chronic 1 (H400, H410) under the SEA Regulation: December 31, 2026
* For substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 1 ton or more per year and classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic, and/or toxic to the reproductive system in hazard categories 1A or 1B under the SEA Regulation as carcinogenic, mutagenic, and/or toxic to the reproductive system in hazard categories 1A or 1B, by December 31, 2026
The registration schedule for substances not covered by the above conditions will be as follows.
* For substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 100 tons or more per year: December 31, 2028
* For substances manufactured or imported at an annual rate of 1 ton or more: December 31, 2030
Substances whose registration has not been completed by the specified registration deadline may not be manufactured or imported until the registration process is completed.
