EU – CLP Updated – ATP 22 Has Been Published
Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), ATP 22 amendments have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union numbered Regulation (EU) 2024/2564 .
Accordingly, 7 substances have been removed from Annex 6 and the classification of 43 substances has been updated.
Some of the most notable changes include formaldehyde (CAS NO: 50-00-0), sulfur (CAS NO: 7704-34-9), ethyl mercaptan (CAS NO: 75-08-1), n-hexane (CAS NO: 110-54-3), and formic acid (CAS NO: 64-18-6).
The new classifications will be implemented as of May 1, 2026.
