IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING KKDİK TEMPORARY REGISTRATION PROCESSES !!!
It is important to create a chemical inventory of our country. Due to the problems experienced in determining the Lead Company, it has been evaluated that conducting the temporary registration processes individually will be a fast and effective solution.
For this purpose; individual temporary registration dossiers will be submitted by the companies through the Ministry’s Chemical Registration System (KKS) by clearly stating the reason until 30.09.2026, regardless of tonnage.
The Individual Temporary Registration Flowchart on how the process will proceed has been published.
In the event that some of the information required to be submitted within the scope of Annex-1 of the Procedures and Principles cannot be provided, the missing information in question can be documented by the companies in the Ministry’s Chemical Registration System together with their justifications and temporary registration files can be submitted. The missing information and documents can be updated through the Chemical Registration System until the final registration dates specified in the Regulation.
After September 30, 2026, necessary inspections will be carried out to query the temporary registration numbers of the substances manufactured/imported by companies.
For the substances to be manufactured/imported after September 30, 2026, companies will apply for temporary registration/full registration prior to manufacturing/importation, obtain their registration numbers and continue their activities accordingly.
Substances for which a Full Registration File has been submitted by the Lead Registrant
Member companies of a substance for which a full registration file has already been submitted by the Lead Registrant may submit their individual temporary registrations by stating the relevant reasons (such as disproportionality in cost sharing, confidentiality concerns or differences of opinion) via the Chemical Registration System.
Companies that have received a full registration number do not need to obtain a temporary registration for that substance.
In the event that the necessary data cannot be provided in the full registration processes of the substances subject to temporary registration, two years will be given as an additional period to the registration deadlines. During this period, it is planned to manage the process by monitoring the provision of the information and documents required for full registration through advisory group meetings.
