KKDIK Regulation Registration Dates Are Being Updated !!!

KKDIK Regulation; since the relevant procedures could not be completed by the deadline of December 31, 2023, set for the registration schedule, it is envisaged that the registration schedule will be implemented gradually according to the tonnage and hazard classification of the substance.

The “Draft Regulation on Amendments to the KKDIK Regulation” was published on November 13, 2023, for the transition period. Accordingly, the Pre-Registration schedule has not been determined, and the Leader Selection and data-cost sharing issues will be carried out according to the procedures and principles to be determined by the Ministry. The Ministry has also announced that comments and suggestions will be accepted until November 20, 2023.

The details for joint registration will be as follows.

* December 31, 2026, for substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 1,000 tons or more per year
* For substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 100 tons or more per year and classified as Aquatic Acute 1 and/or Aquatic Chronic 1 (H400, H410) under the SEA Regulation, the deadline is December 31, 2026
* For substances manufactured or imported in quantities of 1 ton or more per year and classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic, and/or toxic to the reproductive system in hazard categories 1A or 1B under the SEA Regulation, the deadline is December 31, 2026.

The registration schedule for substances not covered by the above conditions will be as follows.

* For substances manufactured or imported at an annual rate of 100 tons or more: December 31, 2028
* For substances manufactured or imported at an annual rate of 1 ton or more: December 31, 2030
