The End of the Transition Period for ECHA Poison Center Notifications is Approaching.

ATTENTION EXPORTERS SELLING TO EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES!!!

All notifications regarding hazardous mixtures submitted to the European Union and the European Economic Area must be in a format adapted to Annex VIII of the Classification, Labeling, and Packaging (CLP) Regulation as of January 1, 2025.

The transition period has allowed companies to continue placing their hazardous mixtures on the market according to non-adapted national requirements. As of January 1, 2025, these notifications will no longer be compliant with the CLP Regulation.

If companies wish to continue placing these mixtures on the market after this date, they will need to submit a new notification as required by Annex VIII and add the unique formula identifier (UFI) to the label. ECHA recommends that notifiers use the ECHA Submission portal to prepare and submit their information in the adaptation format.
