The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), Candidate List for Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). With the addition of this new substance, the list now contains 242 entries.

This substance is used as a flame retardant and plasticizer in polymer formulations, adhesives, and sealants. Companies are responsible for managing the risks of these chemicals and providing information to customers and consumers on their safe use.
